Born and raised in Sandwich, Dr. Stephanie Esmond has always had a passion for animals and science. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and biotechnology (with a minor in psychology) from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and during this time she began her journey with Oceanside, starting as a summer kennel assistant before returning as a veterinary technician. Dr. Esmond went on to earn her doctorate degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts in 2021. Her special interests include exotics, feline medicine, and animal behavior, but she loves to see it all! Outside of work, Dr. Esmond enjoys spending time at one of the Cape’s many walking and biking trails, relaxing with one (or more) of her 7 cats, listening to vinyl, and riding her motorcycle. She is elated to be back with the team that helped her begin her journey in veterinary medicine and give back to her hometown community!
