Dr. Sarah Murray was born and raised in Southeastern Connecticut where she attended the University of Connecticut to earn a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. She attended Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. She then moved to New York City to start her career in a small animal rotating emergency and surgery internship. Since then, she has practiced in Middletown, Connecticut and Oak Harbor, Washington as a small animal general practitioner. She settled in East Sandwich, MA with her husband and four pets in January of 2022 and was very excited to join the amazing team at Oceanside Animal Hospital.
She loves preventative medicine, wound care, soft tissue surgery and long term disease management.
Outside of work, her two amazing pups (Bear and Brie) and two purrrfect felines (Ember and Beverly) keep her busy. She is an avid reader, big time hiker; she loves to kayak and is so thankful that her husband is a marine ecologist as it guarantees they will always live by the ocean.
